OUR NURSERY
The Nursery time is a period of very high hopes and great expectations, being the first formal step on the very exciting path of lifelong learning. Our curriculum is aimed at helping our children develop across all planes of development.
This stage offers us the opportunity to engage our children and challenge their young, curious, and absorbent minds. Children learn through playing, talking, observing, planning, questioning, experimenting, testing, repeating, reflecting, and responding to their teacher and peers. Our award-winning Curriculum uses developmentally appropriate activities, hands-on materials, music, and child-friendly activities to makelearning fun and engaging.
OUR BASIC SCHOOL
We are well aware, as Early Childhood Educators, that the task of preparing these children for what they will encounter at the college level and beyond is very critical. Our robust curriculum engages and challenges them to a higher level of sacrifice. We set reasonable goals and help them achieve those goals while developing habits that help them succeed throughout life. OUR CURRICULUM
The early years of a Child’s life are a period of rapid physical & intellectual growth. We recognize the vital importance and formative nature of the learning that take place during this period and make constant efforts at ensuring that every experience offered to our Children are of the highest possible quality. Our curriculum is a fusion of the British and Nigerian curricula, which we deploy using the Montessori methodology with much emphasis on providing experiences which further structure the Child’s learning, there is a constant awareness that, for the young child, the PROCESS of education, i.e., how the Child is encouraged to learn is as important as the CONTENT i.e what the Child learns. The learning environment within the school takes account of the Child’s need for active involvement, sensory exploration, discovery, creativity, interaction with others and the opportunity to practice and refine skills. Our curriculum is therefore broad, balanced and makes room for progressions. The wholeness and all-round development of the Child are kept at the forefiront of all curriculum planning.
OUR FACILITIES
We operate from our own purpose-built story building located at 9, Renmilekun Street, Off Lasunwo Road, Lagos State Polytechnic 1st gate, Sagamu Road, Ikorodu, Lagos State. The facility consists of 16 colour- friendly all en-suite & fully air-conditioned class rooms. Other facilities include: Creche, Fully Equipped ICT Room, Sick-Bay. Home-Economics laboratory and a full plot of well-kept green area for outdoor games and events.
Learning Beyond The Classroom (Excursion)
We offer a range of enriching and interesting extra-curricular activities and experiences to help our Children develop life skills. In today’s highly competitiveenvironment, schools should not only seek for & prepare Children for academic success but also for interesting, wel- rounded Children that will grow into responsible adults of integrity equipped to lead and impact their generation. The learning was huge as the Children saw the complexities and synchronization of different machines in a production process. No doubt the desire for Engineering and Business was ignited in their young minds.
